Trainer Charley Rossi is undecided where Tiger Tanaka will run next weekend, having won at Longchamp two weeks ago.
The two-year-old filly stormed to victory in the Prix Marcel Boussac to make it five wins from six since Rossi became trainer.
History was also made in the race as Jessica Marcialis ? the partner of Rossi ? became the first female jockey to win a Group 1 race in France.
Despite only running two weeks ago, Rossi says there is more to come from Tiger Tanaka before the end of the season and is targeting either another trip to France or a crack in Italy next weekend.
“The filly has been in really good form since Longchamp and I think she is stronger now than before the Boussac,” said Rossi. “We thought about the Breeders’ Cup but Tiger Tanaka’s sire (Clodovil) is not nominated, so it would cost $100,000 to run, which would be mad.
“The options are to go to the Criterium de Saint-Cloud next Saturday or else to head to Italy on the Sunday for either the Premio Dormello ? their version of the Boussac ? or the Gran Criterium.”
