The 2.15 at Beverley is a trappy little
contest and it will probably take a bit of winning. I won’t be getting
seriously involved in anything but I do think RALPHY BOY TWO is overpriced. He ran a nice race on his return at
Haydock in a contest which has a strong look to it as the third place horse has
already franked the form somewhat by running very well in the Sandringham.
I
thought he fared better than the bare result and he is entitled to come on for
that run so I can certainly see him in the mix here at around 9/1.
The
3.45 isn’t any less competitive either and having backed the odd Nigel Tinkler
horse in the past week or two, I would be slightly concerned about NORTHERN LYTE here. However, if
stepping forward from her opening run I think she could play a part at a course
she loves. Being by Sir Percy I think she is better over this 10f trip rather
than the mile she has been running over for the majority of her three year old
season. As I say, it’s not a confident poke but I think she could be overpriced
if she can step forward from that opening run.
Beverley 2.15 – Ralphy Boy Two – 0.5pts e/w
Beverley 3.45 – Northern Lyte – 0.5pts e/w
