Trainer Hugo Palmer says Blonde Warrior could head to Sandown for the 188Bet Solario Stakes on September 1.
The two-year-old was looking to complete a hat-trick of victories last time out in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood, however, he had to settle for eighth.
With plenty of promise from his three previous outings, Palmer is hopeful that his charge can get back to the top of the field on his next trip and you can be on it by looking at horses & greyhounds betting tips on 888 .
The Newmarket-handler insists he still has plenty of faith in Blonde Warrior and feels a trip to Sandown could provide the perfect opportunity to get back on track.
“He has come back well and he could very easily find himself running in the Solario, while he has got a Champagne Stakes (Doncaster) entry as well and that would give us a little bit more time,” Palmer said.
“I’ve certainly not lost any faith in him and he has had a good two-year-old season.
“He is a horse that will keep improving and I’m sure he will prove himself in stakes company.”
Meanwhile, in other horse racing news, John Gosdon has attempted to play down the hype surrounding Too Darn Hot after his impressive debut win at Sandown.
Gosden’s charge was a seventh-length winner with star jockey Frankie Dettori on board on Thursday and is tipped for future glory but the trainer has told racing fans not to get too carrier away about the horse’s prospects.
Additionally, Roger Varian has announced that he is considering a trip to Germany with Defoe before making a final call on the Prix de l’Arc Triomphe.
The four-year-old has been held back over the last few months after the warm weather left the ground too firm.
