Jockey Barry Geraghty is hoping to return to action at the Galway Festival at the end of July, according to Dr Adrian McGoldrick.
The top jumps jockey has endured a tough campaign on the injury front and his latest setback came in April.
Geraghty broke his arm when falling from Minella Foru in the Irish Grand National and he was forced to miss the Punchestown Festival.
However, he has made good progress and is targeting a return at the seven-day Galway Festival, which starts on July 31.
Turf Club chief medical officer Dr Adrian McGoldrick said: “Barry went into rehabilitation at Santry (Sports Surgery Clinic) about three weeks ago. The aim is to get him back for Galway.”
