Bohemian Flame looks set to run in the Wooldridge Group Pat Eddery Stakes at Ascot on July 23, after running in the July Stakes.
The Andrew Balding-trained runner had to settle for a seventh-place finish in a field of nine last week at Newmarket and will be aimed at a more favourable race next time out.
It is the Wooldridge Group Pat Eddery Stakes, formerly known as the Winkfield Stakes, that looks set to be the next target for the two-year-old, according to racing manager Sam Hoskins.
He told reporters: “He’ll go over seven furlongs next. He was probably wider than ideal throughout, but he wasn’t disgraced. He might not quite be up to that class and it was a very deep race.
“The Winkfield at Ascot on King George day would look the right race for him.”
