Victoria Pendleton is set for her third competitive race start in the Rayner Bosch Car Service Handicap at Newbury on Saturday.
The two times Olympic champion put in a respectable performance on her racecourse debut aboard Mighty Mambo at a charity event at Newbury in July, before being beaten by a head aboard Royal Etiquette at Ripon in August in her first outing as a fully-fledged amateur.
Pendleton will now return to action aboard the Phil Middleton-trained Satanic Beat in the final outing of the day at Newbury in a race that is restricted to lady amateur riders only.
The 35-year-old is set to face 15 rivals on Saturday, but she will be in confident mood aboard a horse that has eight previous victories to his name and he also impressed many on his last outing at Warwick at the start of the month.
