Andy Newton pores over the key stats in the hunt for this year’s Arc winner at Longchamp

It’s off to France this month for their biggest race on the calendar – the Prix de l’ Arc de Triomphe – which will be run on Sunday October 6.
The Arc is the richest Flat race on the turf in Europe and last year we saw the winner – Ace Impact – scoop a tidy £2.5million, which was also the second win in the race for trainer Jean-Claude Rouget since 2020.
