We start off this month’s issue on a very sad note after our editor-in-chief David Emery passed away at the age of 76.
David took over Racing Ahead from its original owners ten years ago and, along with his team at Greenways Publishing, did a fantastic job of taking the magazine to a new level.
He was a superb sports editor at the Daily Express for many years before having the guts to go it alone and launch Sport First, the first sports-only newspaper in the UK.
David is best known for his successful Non-League Paper which has covered that aspect of our national game in detail for many years...
