Readers of my monthly column in the magazine will have probably predicted my tip today as one of my bets of the month, BONNIE BRESIL, goes to Hereford. Henry Daly could not have his team in better form at present with winners on Monday and Tuesday already this week.. This mare looked an improved performer on her reappearance at Exeter in a competitive handicap hurdle with the step up in trip surely bringing about that improvement. She goes again today off a low weight still and I think that mark will turn out to be very lenient.
It’s worth mentioning HEAVENLY CLOUDS up at Wetherby today as she is Mel Rowley’s only runner up at Wetherby today. Rowley has a great record in bumpers and this mare is closely related to some very smart types so I expect her to be able to win a bumper. At 7/2 she looks a good bet.
