Breeders Cup this Weekend from Matt Foster

Breeders Cup Juvenile
The hunt for the Kentucky field starts here.
10 best colts on offer here and as the market speaks its hard to look past Cave Rock, flawless strong performances this son of Arrogate is special, Arrogate was also trained by Baffert and produces vast distance runners. Winner of the Pharaoh stakes at Santa Anita he came out on top by 5 lengths off a blistering pace.
Forte took the win here last time at Keeneland which is always a plus beating Loggins by a neck, boasts great speed close to average it takes to win this and a great Jockey Trainer combo too. I just feel rock is hands down a different class in this division.
If I need a Long shot I have a dark horse in here. Treasure will be the danger I feel and I feel a lot will dismiss this colt by Quality Road, money will be taken on Forte and Blazing Sevens which I get he’d be great if the race fell apart he’d close the show. National Treasure although having the car park draw has the best early pace which can help him overcome that, his dirt speed is the highest overall in here above the average winning speed, he gets the Blinkers first time and wisdom of Jonny Velasquez topped with a blazing bullet workout over 6f for me he’s the real dark horse.
less exposed are nearly always improvers, he got a bad trip to finish behind Cave Rock in a G1 Stakes 2nd time . If anyone is topping the favourite it’s this boy in my eyes. I see the RFC for Baffert, who is the best at this class with juveniles. 10/1 on the board he’s a steal.
Cave Rock 4/6
Ew play and Reverse Forecast National Treasure 10/1

Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies
This is stacked with talent and been a great puzzle to tackle. Gelato you can accept as favourite and is real talent for me in here the wide draw and first stretch out to 2 turns with the wide draw shows vulnerability. Raging sea gets a bad draw here so I fear to much work she was 4th behind Wonder wheel last time out at Keeneland, I liked her but more digging in this Chop Chop came out 2nd by a head, a slow start cost that race but with out that and a better trip she looks best. She switches to dirt now and new tactics from a top trainer she looks best, course and distance we know suits.
A long shot in here is the Pletcher second horse. Atomically draws a good place and the Pletcher actually purchased this filly after a superb win across the distance round 2 turns and won by 6 lengths. Bought after this and debuting for barn in this class she was bought and targeted specifically for this class. As a long shot the new venue and a jockey switch to make the Pletcher/ Saez combo could be the perfect set up for a class filly. It’s a step up in class but not without a chance. 12/1 on the book she’d pay well on the upset.
Chop Chop 4/1
Ew Play Atomically 12/1
