A 2lb rise for a win at Leicester last time out hopefully won’t stop FRESH HOPE from going in again today at Doncaster as the Racing League kicks off. Charlie Fellowes’ filly looked a really progressive type going into Royal Ascot and she was unfortunate not to win there having been drawn on the wrong side. She went to Leicester next time out in a race which definitely wouldn’t have played to her strengths and got up late on in a small field.
Fellowes & Hayley Turner have teamed up many times before with similar types and I expect this one to continue improving throughout the season. She should appreciate the bigger field today and I expect her to go very well.
