May is certainly a hectic month as the new flat turf season starts to kick into gear and another popular race in the third week of the month is the Group Two Temple Stakes.
Run at Haydock over 5f, the Group Two Temple Stakes attracts some of the fastest horses in training and that’s been no different in recent years with the speedy Battaash landing two of the last three runnings, while 12 months ago Liberty Beach got home by a neck to reward favourite backers.
