In any other stable he would have been hailed as the flag bearer, the best in the yard, but at Harewood Bregawn wasn’t even second best to the great Silver Buck, but considered the third string behind Wayward Lad as well, not to mention the two mile supremo, Badsworth Boy. Primarily because of these legendary stable mates Bregawn never received the plaudits he so richly deserved.
