It’s not a particularly exciting day of racing this Monday afternoon so I won’t be getting too involved. I would be worried about the front runner bias at Thirsk with my tip today but I’m hoping RUM RUNNER can run a big race in the 4.15. Geoff Harker’s charge is dangerously well handicapped on old form but hasn’t shown a great deal recently which would inspire you. He showed some spark last time out at Ripon when badly placed but his ability to travel sweetly is eye catching in a big field like this.Often caught out by his hold up racing style you could argue his form isn’t as bad as it might look but either way he may need to sit closer to the pace today if he is to be in the shake up and with David Allan in the plate he will be getting maximum assistance.
