When Tom Dascombe starts a horse at Newbury for his two opening runs it usually says a lot as to what he thinks of the horse. AMOR VINCIT OMNIA has his first run away from Newbury today in much cooler waters to what he has been up against. Stepped up into listed class on his second ever racecourse start he finished an 5 length 5th to the classy Masekela which was more than respectable given the circumstances. Dropped back in trip and grade today should see him go much closer to getting his head in front.
CRAZY LUCK has been a steady improver throughout this season for the Millman team. A close second last time out at Ascot was evidence of that improvement and if she remains in the same form she must go close in the fillies handicap at Salisbury. A course winner already, she never seems to run a bad race and if able to find a little more improvement again, she might just get her head in front again today.
