It was hard not to be impressed with WHITE WALKER last time out who looked a much improved animal when beating a decent field at Market Rasen. I’ve got a fairly good handle on him as the horse he beat into second is owned by the syndicate I manage and we were impressed with him the last day. Since switching from Dan Skelton‘s yard he seems to have sparked into life and the step up to 3 miles has certainly improved him. A 5lb hike looks lenient to me and I expect another bold showing.
The highly rated Galata Bridge could be the star of the show at Worcester tonight if he can transfer his flat performances into this new sphere. However, it’s another useful flat horse in the same race which I think could take some stopping and that’s MORDRED. A useful flat horse has shown an aptitude for jumping so far and is better than what he showed last time at Uttoxeter. He is probably better judged on his opening hurdle run at Stratford and that form had a strong look to it. If able to recapture that form then he will go close here with experience on his side.
Uttoxeter 1.50 – White Walker
Worcester 7.05 – Mordred
