I’ve definitely got on the wrong side of PROUD ARCHI in recent weeks but rightly or wrongly I’m back on board today. Having tipped him in this column a few times on the bounce and watched him come placed so many times, I gave up on him last time out and he duly won. I think he remains on a fair mark despite a rise in the weights and he acts so well at Beverley you would have to agree he is a sound each way play today. He will need a strong pace and he will need a bit of luck from a wide draw but he is bang in form and acts on the track so we have a chance.
