Ben Morgan

Bens Tips of the Day

I don’t think I was the only person waiting for C’MON KENNY to make his handicap debut as he was soon punted in from 11/4 last night. But his three qualifying runs have all been inauspicious to an extent but he showed more last time out when staying on from an unpromising position at . He hit the line hard over a mile which confirmed the fact that he wants further which he gets today. The stiff 10f here at should really suit him and although he comes up against some inform rivals, I’m pretty sure he is a lot better than an opening mark of 69.

Later on the card, I think BARN OWL has an obvious chance from an opening mark of 84. He dug deep at last time, his first run after wind surgery, to hold off a decent looking field. He beat Harlem Soul that day off level weights who is now rated 84 so on collateral form he should be better than this mark. His breeding also suggests he should be a lot better than this mark and  I hope he can step up on what he has shown so far to take this.
