The Scottish Stewards Cup looks a trappy little contest tonight with plenty in with claims. I’m inclined to side with COMMANCHE FALLS who threatens to be a bit better than his current mark but does struggle for consistency. His two wins this season have shown what ability he does have and given he is trained by Michael Dods you always think he can progress further due to his record with similar types. Two below par runs at Thirsk this season do put you off but it might just be a disliking for the track. Unraced at Hamilton, he looks worth a punt today.
