The 3.30 at Catterick looks the sort of race you could work out if you spent enough time looking into it. The front two in the market have been well supported and any value in them has now gone. I quite like the look of BOSSIPOP who, barring a poor run at Sandown last time, has been bang in form and could give this field plenty to think about despite carrying top weight. He is versatile regards ground and if able to get to the front around this sharp track could be hard to peg back.
SHAWAAMEKH has been bang in form this season and deserves to get his head in front sooner rather than later. He has been plying his trade in some competitive 7f handicaps and performing with credit each time. His ability to travel sweetly should stand him in good stead at Catterick today and the race itself represents a step down in grade from the races he has been running in so everything points to a big run.
Catterick 3.30 – Bossipop
Catterick 4.05 – Shawaamekh
