I’m going to give THE ORGANISER another chance today after he bombed out in the Coventry stakes at Royal Ascot. I was quietly confident about him that day but he did too much too soon and despite being the last horse off the bridle he ended up being quite well beaten. His connections believe he is better than that and his York run suggests that too. If he can get some cover today I hope he will be very competitive.
The 3.00 looks a real tough handicap to sort out and class horses such as Apollo One and Spycatcher do tempt me here but this normally goes the way of an improver down the bottom of the weights. I hope ABDUCTION is just that given the way he finished off at Pontefract last time out. He was expected to need the run that day so you can expect some improvement from that run and if so, you would expect him to be in the shake up off such a low weight.
