I tipped PROUD ARCHI last week at Beverley and he almost got the job done for us despite being unsuited to the way the race panned out. He’s a hold up merchant so is reliant on a strong pace which isn’t always guaranteed unfortunately. However he plugged his way on from the back last week further suggesting his current mark should be well within reach sooner rather than later. He returns to Thirsk today, a track he seems to thrive at and although he is likely to be a short price, I think he will take all the beating.
