Andy Newton with the important clues for Haydock race

For a slight change this year, and considering my surname, I thought I’d take a look at the Old Newton Cup at Haydock on July 3.
Run over 1m4f, this handicap is always well-contested and with that comes some decent trends to get stuck into.
Twelve months ago, we saw 16 runners head to post, with the race won by the Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained Deja under jockey Harry Bentley.
