CROESO CYMRAEG just about got up at Leicester the last day so a 2lb rise may seem fair but in actual fact I think it could be very lenient. James Evans’ horse has run a couple of eye-catching races this season and the form of his second at Leicester two runs ago looks pretty decent. The Midlands track isn’t necessarily suited to horses coming from off the pace so he has done well to finish 2nd and 1st there this season whilst being held up off the pace.
He steps up in trip today which shouldn’t be a problem and the stiff nature of this track should allow him to travel into the race quite nicely. Everything looks set for a big run and I am certainly anticipating one.
