It’s set to be a quiet day today after such a busy weekend and I’m heading to Pontefract for today’s tip. UNCLE JUMBO wasn’t too far off the best two year olds last year and is certainly bred to improve as a three year old. He returned at Newcastle recently which would have put him straight for his assignment today and this race represents a step down in class. The stiff 6f at Pontefract should suit as he strikes me as a horse who would probably get 7f one day and at 11/2 I think he is the value bet today.
