Oisin Murphy and Hayley Turner are just two of the big-name jockeys to have signed up for this summer’s new Racing League competition.
Frankie Dettori, Jim Crowley and Hollie Doyle have also joined the tournament which sees a big shake-up in the sport.
There are set to be 12 teams competing at six meetings, starting with the first event at Newcastle on July 29.
Murphy and Turner, who will be riding alongside fellow jockey Sean Levey for the Andrew Balding and Richard Hannon partnership, are excited for the competition to get started.
“This is an exciting innovation and considering the prize money there should be fierce competition between the teams. I look forward to being involved,” Murphy said.
Meanwhile, Turner added: “It’s great that the racing industry has decided to try something a bit different. I know the jockeys and the trainers are all really excited. I think it will help to capture a non-racing audience and be a fun event all round.”
