Unless you have a birthday in January, this month is probably not your favourite time of the year, but we do have some decent jumps racing to look forward to.
Unfortunately January also sees most racing fans having one eye on the weather as many fixtures can fall by the wayside due to waterlogged tracks, ice or snow.
That’s applied to the Peter Marsh Chase a few times since 2011, but, fingers crossed, in recent years they’ve had a better run of things with the last seven renewals all getting the green light.
