ALL IRISH EYES ARE ON THE FESTIVALS

Karl Hedley evaluates recent races and what they mean for the future

All trainers have one eye on the winter and spring Festivals including Cheltenham and Punchestown. There have been some decent performances on display since my last piece so I have provided insights as to how connections viewed those races.
There was a welcome change of luck for Joseph “Shark” Hanlon in the opening maiden at Cork on Sunday 20th October. Dime A Dozen was supported as though defeat was out of the question and to her trainers’ delight that proved to be correct.
