Ballymore Novices Hurdle The market has this between CHAMP and Battleoverdoyen and my preference is for the former. Nicky Henderson has an embarrassment of riches in the novice hurdle department this season and I think the aptly named Champ is top of the pile. Always regarded as a high class animal, he had been wrapped up in cotton wool prior to this season and it looks as if the softly softly approach could pay dividends.
