Japan's super filly Almond Eye beat a strong field of European and Japanese opponents to win the 2018 Japan Cup in record time in Tokyo. Current Japanese champion jockey Christophe Lemaire maintained his winning partnership with threeyear old filly that has seen them win the Japanese Fillies' Triple Crown this year (2018).
In the Japan Cup, Almond Eye broke fast from stall 1 and Lemaire was content to track strong front-running Kiseki until swooping past him...
