After a busy week last week, I hope for a
steady but profitable week this week. We start slow with only one bet today and
that's in the penultimate race at Haydock. Readers of the Racing Ahead mag will
already be on DREAMWEAVER as he was
one of my punts of the month. Ed Walker's charge looks to have a solid chance
in a competitive handicap despite top weight and I will be disappointed if he
isn't going close. Hailing from a slow burning family, I'm hoping he is going
to blossom as a four year old and shoot up the handicap ranks.
I was slightly
worried about the ground the last day but he dealt with rattling quick ground
fine so there shouldn't be any problems with today's slightly slower ground.
William Buick takes the ride and he and Ed Walker are forging quite a
partnership of late so fingers crossed they can enhance that record today!
