Trainer Dean Ivory has submitted an entry for Librisa Breeze at the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville.
The race meeting, scheduled for August 5, will only be the six-year-old?s third race of the year.
Ivory has been frustrated with the long hot summer in Britain, with the Radlett handler believing the weather has meant a shortage of suitable races.
Only one of the two races has been on domestic turf, where Librisa Breeze struggled on the fast ground in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, something which has irked Ivory.
“We'll just see if the ground and everything is right between now and then. There aren't many options for him. They are getting fewer and fewer,” he said. “It's just a bit hot for them. It's not ideal.
“He's fine. The ground was so fast at Ascot. You can soon ruin good horses. It's so frustrating. We're just sitting still at the moment and seeing what happens.
“Some of the races you have to enter in advance and just see where you go.
“We've got the Maurice de Gheest coming up. That's all we've got in mind for him at the moment.”
