O’Brien confident everything will be in Order

Aidan O'Brien does not foresee any issues for Order Of St George when he returns on Sunday at Navan.

The son of Galileo rounded off last season with a win at the Long Distance Cup on Champions Day at Ascot, ending a campaign that had also included a second Irish St Leger.

Order Of St George is the big name in the field for Sunday's one-mile-six-furlong Group Three, but connections will be hoping for better than in this race last year when he suffered a shock defeat to Jessica Harrington's Torcedor.

The Jim Bolger-trained Clongowes and Jedd O'Keeffe's Lord Yeats are amongst the challengers, but O'Brien says he is confident the six-year-old can make a successful start to the season.

He said: “He's in good form. He's just ready to start back and we're happy with him. We're hoping he runs a nice race.”
