Kelso forced to call inspection for Sunday

's clerk of the course Anthea Morshead has confirmed Sunday's meeting will need to pass a precautionary inspection on Saturday.

The snow at the end of February saw Kelso's card abandoned but they worked quickly to reschedule the meeting.

Premier Hurdle Day will take place on Sunday, March 11, with the fixture due to feature the Grade Two Premier Kelso Novices' Hurdle and the Listed Premier Chase.

Grand hope Bristol De Mai and Seeyouatmidnight will run in the Premier Chase as long as the course passes an inspection at 10am.

Morshead tweeted: “A dry, frosty start and a dry, sunny day forecast. Going heavy. Precautionary inspection Saturday 10am due to a front of rain passing through region on Saturday.”
