As the champion jockey standings in Poland’s small but much-loved jumps programme took shape last year, there was one name who stood above the rest.
Sweden’s Niklas Lovén, 55, racked up 11 victories in a season that saw him take all four of Poland’s major jumps prizes -Wrocław’s Wielką Wrocławską, Wielką Partynicką and Crystal Cup contest plus Warsaw’s Wielką Służewiecką.
