Wow – it’s October folks and as racing fans that means we are now at the tail end of the flat turf season and National Hunt lovers will also be starting to get ‘jumpy’ knowing the hedgehopping action is on the horizon.
That said, the curtain doesn’t come down on turf flat season until November, so there’s still a bit of business to settle.
We’ve Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday 21 and also a top fixture at Newmarket, which includes the ultra-competitive Cesarewitch Handicap (October 14)...
