This month one of the main focuses will be on the final English Classic of the season – the William Hill St Leger - run, as always, at Doncaster and this year staged on Saturday 11th September.
The St Leger, which was first run in 1776, is the oldest of the five English Classics and with that has a load of history and many key trends to consider once we know the final runners.
