For once, luck didn't go the way of as the meeting's top jockey was denied a clear passage on his mount Kingfisher who was forced to check his run, and he stayed on late to snatch the runner up spot at 5/1 with 5/2 favourite Forgotten Rules third.


Lee said: “He gave me a great ride, he was so switched off and relaxed.


“He races that way, just conserving his energy. He deserved it.”
