Present View to miss rest of season

Present View will miss the rest of the season with a minor injury but trainer Jamie Snowden claims he will comeback stronger next year.

The seven-year-old was a leading fancy for the upcoming BetBright Chase at but he has now been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

Snowden expects Present View to recover fully from the leg injury and has already set his charge an early target of reaching the The , in which he was third this season, in November as a race to focus his comeback on.

“It’s a real shame. He’s just got a bit of remodelling to his tibia. Thankfully it’s not a drastic injury, but it’s going to hold us this season and we’ll have him back for next season,” Snowden said.

“I think the Paddy Power is the obvious thing to do. He will want to go up in trip at some point. The Paddy Power meeting tends to be run on slightly softer ground so it makes sense to look at that again.”
