Sorry a little late today Form Reading Vs The Statistical Approach (Part 6).

I hope you have enjoyed our weekly articles, and I hope we have open your eyes as far as using the statistical approach is concerned!

We have briefly discussed trends and ratings, and today I would like to talk about ‘mini' .

There is a lot of negativity concerning systems and wrongly so in my personal opinion.

Most systems are rubbish, there is literally loads of ‘tosh' on the market and most systems aren't worth the paper they're written on.

But there are good systems out there, the trouble is of course finding them!

So what is a ‘mini' system?

A mini system has a small amount of criteria/rules and makes a small profit throughout a period of time.

Personally I love mini systems. I have a library of them myself which I use on a daily basis. A mini system can make a profit of 10-50pts per year. Most bettors will say that making such a small amount of profit would not be worth it. But if you have ten mini systems that each made an average of 25pts per year, that would mean a juicy total of 250pts and working to small £10 stakes would mean a tax free profit of £2500 each year.

Post ‘Mini' System.

This system takes just a few minutes each day and all you will need is access to the Racing Post newspaper. All high street shops will have a Racing Post so there is no need to purchase one.

The simple criteria are…

1)      Go to the index on the inside cover of the paper. Look for the ‘signposts' & ‘Coral Racing Naps Competition' pages.

2)      In the signposts section we are looking for the ‘most popular nap'. Make a note of these selection(s).

3)      We then take a look for the ‘Coral Naps Competition'. Our selection(s) must be tipped by one of the top four tipsters in the current naps table.

4)      If the selection(s) match we then look to see if the horse is top (RPR) Racing Post Rated. If it is we have a selection.

This is a simple system that will make between 10-40pts profit per year, from an average of 100 selections.

Please try it out or paper trade for a while.

I can confirm there is no qualifying selection today.

Have a great day.
