Ialways get asked at this time of year ‘do I prefer Flat or jumps?’ and hailing from a strong National Hunt supporting county such as Shropshire, my answer does raise eyebrows.
I prefer the Flat action purely because I tend to make more money which makes me sound like a dirty mercenary but the action is so much more competitive on a day to day basis, value is far easier to find. Of course I love the jumps as a spectacle but I find strong bets few and far between.
