Just the one selection today and it comes at
York in the finale. Michael Dods put BRUNCH
up as a handicapper to follow at the start of the season and he is proving
just that so far this year. A solid third at Haydock was followed up with a
narrow victory here at York where he did well to overcome a pace bias. He was
dropped right out and was the only horse to come from the back and fight out
the finish so the fact he came out on top makes it even more impressive. He got
a 6lb hike for that but I think there could be more in the tank and at 10/1 he
looks a fair each way bet in an open race.
