One Master is being aimed at a hat-trick bid for the Prix de la Foret following a narrow defeat at Doncaster on Saturday.
With Group One glory secured on Arc weekend in each of the past two seasons, trainer William Haggas looks set to send One Master back to France to try and make it three successes in the Prix de la Foret.
One Master, who is just one of 15 Haggas-trained horses to have finished second since September 3, has only one win in five starts this term but has been unfortunate at times this season not to have done better.
Having fallen just short of the win at Doncaster, Haggas is now aiming his charge at the Arc weekend.
“She ran very well. She’s just been unfortunate, but that’s the way it goes,” Haggas said.
“She’s come out of the race fine and that (Foret) is the plan.”
