Patient Dream looks to be a rather obvious
selection in the 6.30 at Lingfield as he is currently an odds-on shot but I
don’t think there is that much between him and GREYSTOKE. Mick Channon’s horse is around 10/3 in what seems to be
a shoot out between the two at the top of the market and I think there is
plenty of value in that price. He ran a nice race on debut when not knocked
about at Sandown. That form has a decent look to it and the selection was an
eye catcher that day. Patient Dream wasn’t necessarily an eye catcher at the
time of his debut run but the winner of the race came out and won the Acomb
last week at York and the form is beginning to look useful. However, I don’t
think there is too much between the pair and at the price I think Greystoke is
the bet here.
