Gosden calm over Too Darn Hot’s prospects

has played down the hype surrounding Too Darn Hot after his impressive debut win at .

Gosden’s charge was a seventh-length winner with star jockey on board on and is tipped for future glory.

The son of Dubawi out of Dar Re Mi is being talked about as a potential horse but Gosden wants to take it one race at a time in a bid to ease the four-year-old in before sending him into Group company.

Gosden said: “He is a nice horse, but it is early days. He will go to a novice like Beatboxer did after his first start.

“We are not going to launch straight into Group company yet, as he doesn’t know enough about the world.

“We will win a novice first, then look at bigger targets.”
