Willie Mullins is hoping Faugheen and Annie Power will be back in action in the coming weeks, having not featured yet this season.
Faugheen is being lined up for the BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday week after struggling for fitness.
Meanwhile, Annie Power has also missed the start of the season and is being leaned towards the mare’s event in Punchestown.
Mullins says that the pair have looked good in training and hopes there are no setbacks on the horizon as he looks to get them back out and in action.
“Both worked nicely this morning, so I’m very pleased with them,” said the champion trainer.
“Both horses are pleasing me a lot more now than they have been, so we’re well on course with both of them at the moment.
“What I’d like to do is get Faugheen there (Irish Champion Hurdle) and probably get Annie Power to that mares’ race in Punchestown she won last year.
“That would be the ideal scenario.”
