Previous winner Cue Card and 2015 Gold Cup champion Coneygree are both among 22 entries for Haydock‘s Betfair Chase on November 19.
Colin Tizzard‘s Cue Card will defend the title he won last year and also in 2013 later this month but is set to face stiff competition on the day from Coneygree, who has been lightly raced since his famous win at the Festival last year.
Charlie Hall winner Irish Cavalier and runner-up Menorah are also named, alongside the 2014 winner of the Betfair Chase, Silviniaco Conti.
Paul Nicholls also has interest in the shape of Le Mercurey, Saphir Du Rheu, Vibrato Valtat and Vicente for the big Haydock race.
Other contenders include Don Poli, Outlander and Roi Des Francs, while Stuart Crawford’s Fine Rightly is also on the list of 22 at this stage.
Emmanuel Clayeux’s Vezelay represents France and David Pipe has Ballynagour, Dynaste and Un Temps Pour Tout, while Jonjo O’Neill has More Of That and Hollywell.
Completing the impressive list are Tom George’s God’s Own and Seeyouatmidnight.
