Connections are keeping their options open regarding Librisa Breeze’s next move but look set to step him up in class.
The four-year-old was second of 28 in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot on June 15 but followed that up by claiming the spoils in the Gigaset International Stakes back at the Berkshire venue.
It was an excellent display by the son of Mount Nelson and big things are now expected of the gelding.
It is still unclear where Librisa Breeze will next be seen, but trainer Dean Ivory is adamant that the gelding can now step up after his recent victory.
“I’m still not too sure where we are going with him as he has a lot of options,” he said. “We may go to York with him for the Group Three race (City of York Stakes) that Sirius Prospect won when it was a Listed race or wait for the Park Stakes at Doncaster.
“He came out of the race at Ascot so well that I had to give him a two or three canters last week.”
