Record support from trainers and jockeys for Racing League 2024

League has received a significant boost in support for 2024, with reigning champion Flat trainers John & Thady Gosden among a record 180 stables registered for this year’s competition, an increase of 34 per cent compared to 2023.
The powerful outfits of Charlie Johnston and Archie Watson are among 45 trainers new to Racing League and add much needed firepower to team Scotland.
Ireland overhauled Wales & The West to claim the spoils in a memorable finale at last year and the defending champions have the largest group of trainers to call on, with Johnny Murtagh a notable addition.
Wales & The West has added five new trainers to its ranks, while and Roger Teal have both switched allegiance to London & The South.
Richard Fahey sent out the most runners during Racing League 2023 and once again represents The North, while John & Sean Quinn are the flagship signing for Yorkshire.

Hughes said: “I’m really looking forward to being part of Racing League this year, it’s going to be fun! Having seen who’s on my team I have to fancy our chances of winning.”
