Virgin Bet renews Ayr Gold Cup sponsorship

The management of Racecourse has announced that Virgin Bet will continue to sponsor the Ayr for a third consecutive year.

The Virgin Bet Ayr Gold Cup is a sprint handicap race that saw victories by Summerghand and Bielsa in 2022. The race currently holds a value of £180,000.

Ayr Racecourse stands as the exclusive venue in Great Britain for hosting the Gold Cup, Silver Cup, and Bronze Cup. This unique setup allows that did not qualify for the main event to still compete on the same course and distance.
